Darin Zanyar, populärt bara Darin, född 2 juni i Botkyrka i Stockholms län,[1] är en svenskartist och låtskrivare. Efter sitt genombrott som sjuttonåring i Idol har Darin släppt flera topplistade studioalbum och samarbetat med några av världens främsta låtskrivare och musikproducenter. Han har bland annat deltagit i Melodifestivalen och Så mycket bättre, uppträtt på Kronprinsessan Victorias bröllop och i Vatikanen inför påve Franciskus. Darin Zanyar has reserved a hotel room for a day, to string together several interviews. While it's hard to talk for hours about himself to journalists hungry for new titles, the singer was in high spirits when an angel and a demon approached him to complete the talks of the day.
'Oh, you are truly an angel and a demon.I did not know it was so serious', says Darin.
Angel:We are always serious. What is the most angelic thing you've ever done?
Darin: I attended a charity campaign. I went to Ghana, Africa, for TV4 (Swedish TV channel), I raised money and I sponsored a child. I really want to participate in more charity in the future.
Demon: What is the most evil thing you've ever done so?
Darin:That's when I'm angry with someone I love. For example, when I am angry with a family member, but it was mostly when I was younger.

Darin Zanyar (born June 2, ), known simply as Darin, is a pop singer from Sweden. Darin was the first place runner-up in the Swedish Idol , acquiring a fanbase primarily of teenage girls. Darin lives in Vällingby outside of Stockholm. He is of Kurdish heritage, and he speaks Central Kurdish. He won the Kurd of the year award in presented by Swedish Minister for Public Health and Social Services Morgan Johansson. Darin released his first album in February , with songs by Swedish hit maker Max Martin and Swedish artist Robyn.
