Artros motion

Pain is the #1 reason for joint replacement surgery, but 25% of patients still experience more pain than before surgery

People Deserve Better

AROmotion is an alternative to total joint replacement, providing patients with a treatment option besides short-lasting injections and invasive surgery.

Get back to pain-free motion without surgery!

AROmotion removes the pain, not the joint

Joint replacement surgery is unnecessary for up to 90% of patients with Osteoarthritis. Despite experiencing significant pain, the majority of patients have mechanically functional and intact joints.

We were frustrated not just by the invasive removal of functioning joints, but also by the large number of patients who have persistent pain after surgery, the extended recovery time and the inherent risks associated with such a major surgery. So, we invested in creating a better treatment because we believe that people deserve better.

Born out of think tank of Physicians, Surgeons, and University Scientists, AROmotion offers a significant advancement in Osteoarthritis care. Surpassing the results of traditional joint replacement surgery, the AROmotion procedure is a minimally

How we treat joint pain without Surgery

Cut Out the Pain, Not the Joint

AROmotion was founded by a think tank of Physicians, Surgeons, and University Scientists that integrated the perspectives and technologies of Orthopedics, Rheumatology, Interventional Pain and Internal Medicine to understand and treat Osteoarthritis.

The AROmotion procedure is a minimally invasive and non-traumatic treatment that provides rapid and long-lasting pain relief, surpassing the results of traditional joint replacement surgery.

Making Sense of Osteoarthritis

Words Matter

Although chronic osteoarthritis pain is often associated with loss of joint space, being "bone-on-bone" is not the direct cause of the pain, nor does it mean your joint is beyond repair.

At the ends of your bones is a hard shell of hyaline cartilage that protects the nerve endings within the bones. This hyaline cartilage is the same type 2 collagen found under the enamel of your teeth.

Over time, due to wear and tear, the articular cartilage thins, and tiny cavities form in the protective shell, a condition known as chondromalacia. These cavities leave the nerves in the bone less prot

What is Arthrosis?

Got arthrosis? Or just curious about what it is? As a condition affecting around 30 million people in the U.S. alone, it’s not uncommon and may just impact more people than you might guess. If you break that down that’s , individuals for each state in the Union (that number exceeds the population of Wyoming!). You might even be affected by arthrosis yourself.

Arthosis or arthrosis?

Often mistakenly called “arthosis”, this condition is actually called arthrosis with an “r” thrown in after the “h”. To make things even more complicated, there is also a disease known as atherosclerosis(aka arthrosclerotic cardiovascular disease -- now there’s a mouthful!), which sounds very similar but affects the heart and arteries. So, now that we’ve got that little bit of confusion cleared up, let’s take a closer look at arthrosis.

Arthrosis vs. Arthritis

What is arthrosis? Is it the same as arthritis? Arthrosis sounds a lot like “arthritis” -- so is this just a coincidence? Not at all! Arthrosis isa type of arthritis, specifically the form typically called osteoarthritis (OA). You may have also heard it referred to as degenerative joint disease or degenerativ
